Co-operative Management Certificate Program Ontario Co-operative Association (On Co-op) wanted to provide members with the option of third level executive education. The initiative, a first in North America, led to the creation of the Co-operative Management Certificate Program, a blended learning program offered by On Co-op in partnership with Schulich School of Business at York University. The Program is a 7-month co-operative learning experience with three key components: five core e-learning modules and five sector five sector-specific e-learning modules, webinar sessions, and face-to-face intensive sessions. The Program is supplemented by ongoing contact with students and education resources throughout the entire 7-month Program.  Our Role We worked with On Co-op, for two years to create the 10 e-learning modules. Each module requires approximately 60 hours of effort. All modules include: online learning, reflective assignments, readings, exercises and a final exam to measure knowledge transfer. The modules were authored in Articulate and incorporate interactive PDF's for reflective assignment and module feedback. The e-learning modules are hosted on CUSOURCE's Learning Management System. The Program, now recruiting for year three has had a major impact. in increasing the skill levels of the next generation of co-op leaders.
